i rather apprehensively would like to say hello.. i've been raised somewhat in the truth,one of my parents is rather rather strong in the beliefs but could honestly be considered pomi with how active they are and their side of the family comes from a line of witnesses, the other parent was but faded a long time ago.
as such i was taught quite a bit of jw teachings between family and off and on again bible studies.
recently i had a serious emotional break down over a few months after said pomi parent had advised me that they would not attend my wedding should that day come (i also had recieved a text from my bible teacher i hadnt heard from in a year or two giving a scripture) and it sorta all sank on me that my activity over the last few years was not really jw material.

i had it confirmed today that 5 kingdom halls on one site in new addington are for sale.
price being asked £3.5 million.. every witness in london worked on that site.

It clarifies things: the org has applied for Planning Permission to demolish 3 KH's on the site and replace them with something smaller.

Not personally, but I know for a certainty that an elder and his wife in my last congregation acquired a nice bungalow from the local council because they'd been praying to Jehovah to get it! Clearly, divine intervention.
There's also the case of a building contractor who promised God that he'd study with JW's if Jehovah would help him find a leak in the roof of a new building he was responsible for. He then found it after praying. Miracle of miracles!
I rest my case.
i knew of several elders who would tell their wife's everything that happened in a committee meeting.
he is still and elder and very old but i doubt he has changed.

An expert on BBC's Question Time last Thursday evening reminded people of the fact that they weren't given the option of leaving the EU with any kind of deal - leaving the door wide open for all sorts of sell-outs (aka "compromises") by the government.
The questions were plain and simple; leave the EU or remain. 17m+ voted to leave, 14m+ voted to remain.
my wife and i just enjoyed a family reunion with both my sons ,one wife and one grandchild 10 years old ,where they stayed at our house for a week .. the best week we have had for many a year .
the couple live only 2 hours away by car and the other son and his child live 2 states away 2 hours by plane.. and thankfully they are no longer associated with the borg that i now regretfully brought them up in , so the borg will never get their children.. it was a happyfying time .

The 1st and 3rd suggestions have already been certified as dead & buried - thanks to a massive rejection by the UK Parliament and an even bigger rejection by the EU government, which reduces the options to a choice between 2 or 4.
Since the vast majority of MP's are united against the no-deal scenario, an extension of 6 months of Article 50 to allow for another referendum would be my bet.
